Whether you're an individual contributor, a director, or an entrepreneur, you will benefit from Creating Your AI Advantage. Creating Your AI Advantage in Action
Learn how to Create Your AI Advantage through an interactive experience with like-minded professionals.
Four 2-hour live sessions on Zoom, conducted weekly. All sessions are recorded, so if you miss one — or want to revisit it — it's yours to watch anytime. You will be asked to complete a short, self-paced primer (The Expertise Advantage) to prepare you to learn.
Week 1 — Orientation, the case, and the landscape of AI. Step into the scenario, learn to read any kind of work through the Scenaptic Lens, meet the full family of AI tools, and choose a process from your own work to carry through the month.
Week 2 — Analytics, data, and designing solutions. Deep dive into the immersive scenario's real challenges — siloed data, messy inputs — and start mapping which kinds of AI fit which parts of the work, with your first hands-on application.
Week 3 — Building the solution. Go hands-on, building real, usable AI tools against the scenario — and then against your own chosen workflow.
Week 4 — Your Workflow. Turn everything on your own work, shape it into a clear, costed plan, and present it for feedback — plus governance, ethics, and where to go next.
The Experience Continues Between Sessions
The four live sessions are only part of the journey. Between them, you’ll continue developing your project with structured support designed to keep momentum and deepen your thinking.
✓ Guided fieldwork
Apply each session directly to your own work through carefully designed exercises.
✓ Private cohort community
Ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn from the experience of other participants throughout the programme.
✓ One-on-one coaching, 3 Sessions
Meet individually with me to refine your project, discuss challenges, and shape your AI strategy around your own professional context.
Bring AI to your hardest calls
Without the risk of learning on the job.
An Advanced Interactive Scenario
This isn’t a case study you read. It’s a world you step into and act in — with its people, its data, and decisions that don’t come with a tidy right answer, because real work never does. And your decisions have consequences. Make a call, and you see what it produces — and why. Not a grade but an outcome, explained.
Why a fictional company?
The scenario is set outside your own field on purpose — a small craft house facing a very real dilemma. But it's built on the AI challenges that recur across every industry and role: messy data, competing priorities, knowing where to trust AI and where judgment must lead. Whether your world is jewellery, retail, finance, or healthcare, the thinking transfers directly. The world is the vehicle; your expertise is the destination.
AI-Powered Features
What makes the world come alive
✔ Talk to the people in the room. Hold real conversations with the company's key figures — the owner, the master craftsperson, a board member, a major client. Ask them questions, hear their concerns, and discover that each one wants something different. Differing perspectives create better outcomes.
✔ Dig into real, messy data. Explore the company's actual financials, sales, and records — incomplete and imperfect, the way real data always is. You practise drawing sound conclusions from information that never comes perfectly clean.
✔ Read the real documents. Work from the genuine artefacts of a living company — the acquisition offer on the table, board notes, an artisan's letter, a market report — not a tidy one-page summary.
✔ See the impact of your decisions. When you make a call, the scenario shows you what likely happens next — and explains why. You learn from the consequences, safely, before the stakes are ever real.
✔ Test your proposals against a realistic model: A working model of the business. Behind the scenario sits a carefully built model of how the company actually works — how its craft, its people, its clients, and its finances all affect one another. When you propose a course of action, you can run it through this model and see the likely ripple effects across the whole business, over time. It's the difference between guessing whether an idea would work and seeing how it plays out in a system that behaves like the real thing.
Meet Carlos
I've spent decades building interactive learning worlds and turning that craft into a structured way of finding where AI belongs in real work. With an MBA and a PhD in educational technology, I've taught AI and technology to professionals and university students across four countries, trained teams from companies like Amazon, PwC, and McKinsey, as well as government agencies, and built AI tools inside real organisations. I've presented my work on learning and simulation at leading conferences across North America, Latin America, and Europe, including at Harvard. My research on AI in learning earned a Special Distinction from the British Journal of Educational Technology. I work with these tools every day — and I'll be guiding you through this experience myself.
